At Personal Guides Hungary we don't run scheduled tours. With each client or client groups we set a compilation of pick-ups, tour schemes as well as activities as per clients' needs. These appointments are subject to change of a client decision, and none of ours. We deliver sharp service and flexible attitude.
We designed and priced each tour including a personal guide and a car with driver or a driver-guide which gives great flexibility in city moving or to change plans. Our drivers are experienced car drivers, have good knowledge on Hungary locations and understand foreign language. We drive cars only in new condition, air conditioned and with comfort seats. We drive preferably high class german brands.
Naturally, it is possible to alter from such assembly of services. You may want to drive around only and no personal guide you ask for. Contrary, when thinking of a walking tour with your personal guide, please consider that Budapest is a large city. We recommend walking tours to experienced walkers or to cover a small specific area only, such as the Castle District. There are several other ways to move around in the city. Please describe your intentions at bookings and we will accommodate possibilities to best serve you.
:: PERSONAL ARRANGEMENTS ::
Enjoy yourself in a personalized tour of Budapest and Hungarian attractions. Catering to couples and small groups (a maximum of 16 guests). No rush, no hassles, just relax and enjoy! We offer a friendly, flexible and comfortable itinerary to suit you. We can include wineries, galleries, shopping malls, restaurants, opera, or we can go wherever your interests may take you.
Regarding languages, there is a great chance we speak your language. Registering to Personal Guides Hungary is always in English. However, we will always response and contact you in your native or preferred language. For responses please expect a maximum of two business days. We accept bookings for all 365 days of the year.
We do not require payments at the time of registering for any tour of ours. We want to synchronize your ideas into our tour possibilities and give you a detailed tour and price quote. In most cases no prepayment is required at all. For payment and refund procedures please review our Payment Policy carefully.
:: ASPECTS of INTERESTS ::
We understand the first time experience what travellers are looking for. We created tours that incorporates the most visited monuments of Budapest as well as out of city country programmes. For returning visitors we designed several thematical tour topics besides must-see tourist destination routes. Should it be your first time in Budapest or having preference to learn back-door aspects of Budapest, we are ready to enrich your time spent here. In case you wouldn?t find a tour on our pages with your special interest we greatly create unique arrangements for you like "behind the scenes" tours. And afterall, we will show and tell you that all in person.
We decided not to include a comprehensive guide of Hungary and loads of info on our pages. There are plenty of sites and books about Hungary or Budapest or any of our tourist programmes that do much better on knowledge providing. Rather we included links to these internet areas. And afterall, we will show and tell you that all in person.

Personal Guides EC organizes private tours to Hungary destinations since 2002. Ever since then, we never received a negative feedback from clients we serviced. We have escorted many business visitors, couples, families, friends, business groups and up to 80 people really large tourist groups.
In Hungary travel business activities requires special licenses. Personal Guides EC is a listed travel agent company in Hungary. You may check our license certificate on the National Tourism Board website ( www.mkeh.gov.hu). All personal guides we work with have the appropriate travel guiding licenses as well.
